No. Also, that car is not "Austin" enough. It has to be a beat POS VW with like a billion liberal slogan stickers on it, and then within the confines of said vehicle each individual is wearing a fedora, skinny jeans and striped tanks with pirate-like facial hair. You really need the whole thing.

Upload a bigger picture next time. I felt like I was on dial-up waiting on that thing to load.

Dude, it's social commentary on all the Californians who have relocated to Austin and complain about it. Loosen up a little..

You'd have to be an idiot to move to Texas from California.

You gotta do what you gotta do. Not everybody can hack it in California so when your run-of-the-mill job relocates from Corona to Plano you have to decide whether or not to settle for mediocrity so that you can get a big house and your kids can go to a decent, safe school. There's pros and cons to just about every place in the country.

I think a lot of people from California convince themselves that Austin is a lot like northern California and less like the rest of Texas so they move there and are likely disappointed. Then, they start trying to make it more like California. I'm not hating on them. They're just doing what they think is best.

I wonder how many Californians go to SXSW during spring and are like "wow this weather is great!!" and start plotting a move.

Until their practice of voting for the same economic and tax policies that are one reason why they left California actually start affecting elections?

Just because they're moving doesn't mean their politics stays in California.

Not really. The worst thing about California is Californians. To the extent you actually want to interact with other humans, Texas >>>>> California.

I've lived in Austin for about 4.5 years and work at one of the largest employers here.

I've only met one person from CA. There seems to be a ton more Michigan people than anything.

I like calcium, too. Not enough to get a license plate though.
