[quote]Last episode of The Sopranos. I actually jumped out of my chair to check the TV settings, made sure cables were plugged in, and then jumped on the intranets to see if I should check myself in a looney bin.[/quote
I couldn't believe the way The Sopranos ended either. I thought direct tv went out at first.

Sopranos for me too. I was watching it at my girlfriends moms house at the time..... And I jumped out of my chair too and just yelled "What.... the....frick? out loud and people came to the living room like I shot the dog or something..... God, I was so pissed off at the time.

This. The previous season's finale ended with so much potential for the final season, yet they crapped the bed by trying to push too much drama.

And Sara losing her memory was as frustrating as tv gets. I still can't bring myself to rewatch the final season.

quote:This is why I didn't watch the show at first. My wife and kids did, but I kept thinking about wanting to punch Sheldon in the face.
I don't remember the exact line, but Sheldon said something on Big Bang Theory once, and I remember thinking, "if I was there I would have knocked his lights out", and that his group of friends were such weenies for letting him talk to them like that.
Same reason Seinfeld pisses me off with Kramer and George.
I was really pissed when all those Taccoa men kept getting waxed during Bastogne. Obviously, that wasn't because of the writers. Still upset me.

This. Left me so bitter that I can't change the channel fast enough when ANY episode of that show comes on.

Pam and Jim fighting in the final season of The Office.
Joffrey killing the hot whore with the crossbow.
Anything Catelyn Stark ever said.
Charlie not swimming out the port hole.

When Xander left Anya at the altar. It just went against everything that had been established by his character, and was really done just to punish the actor, who had a teensy drinking problem and was getting progressively written out of the show.
Still, Xander's defining traits are loyalty and courage, both of which were betrayed there. It just didn't make sense for his character to do that. I'm okay with writers doing whatever they want with their characters, and trying to go to new places and such, but this seemed petty and not about the character, but about an off camera dispute. It was tonally wrong.
