i was always disappointed then didn't do the highlights of the finland game at least. that was the gold medal game after all. would it have meant as much if we got the silver?

I KNOW. That is a PIVOTAL moment in the movie. I've used that scene as a talking point at work when I'm talking about team building and breaking down silos to come together.

When Eurizone comes to the realization that he skates for the United States of America it changes the face of the team. Whoever edited that scene out needs his arse kicked back to communist Russia.

Miracle is either my second or third favorite hockey movie and possibly a top 10 sports movie.

1. Slap Shot

2/3/4/5 Miracle/Mystery, Alaska/Goon/Mighty Ducks all depending on mood.

I think Goon is better than Slap Shot.

Most of my favorite sports movies in general are hockey movies. I can think of 2 or 3 baseball movies that would be top ten for me, 2 or 3 football movies, 2 or 3 golf movies but no basketball movies would make my top ten.

My for sure sports movies in top ten would be Caddyshack, Slap Shot, Bull Durham, Remember the Titans, and Major League. The rest would all be pretty close with all 4 of those hockey movies making a push.

Probably my favorite.

I really enjoy Miracle though. It's a legit sports movie.

Hoosiers is the only one that would even have an argument in my eyes but I still think it would be easy to find 10 to 15 that I enjoy more than Hoosiers.
