Did you intend for this space to be left blank?
I need a disclaimer.

My parents got married at a plantation in '78. Not a new trend.

People get married at places that are aesthetically pleasing, regardless of the venue (e.g., churches, estates, lakefront, etc). I'm sure plantations that are crumbling don't see many weddings.

If you think getting married at a plantation is disturbing, i do not recommend watching any ISIS beheadings.

It is so refreshing that such a reliable news source like salon.com is there to tell me what I should be upset about. If it wasn't for them I would be happy for the happy couple, but now I know I should stand up and start calling them racists.

Who gives a frick? It's a wedding, not a Klan rally.

I swear, the media in this country is fricking retarded.

I would think black couple would want to get married at a plantation as the ultimate "frick you" to slave owning ghosts.

these people have way too much time to bitch about things.

what if I reminded the writer some Natives got "robbed" of the land Manhattan and her Brooklyn apartment are on so she should stop taking happy photos around those parts?
