Friend took me to dinner as early bday present tonight and I splurged on two coconut margaritas. Hoping the coffee wakes me up enough so I can go to gym for a quick workout (they close at midnight).

YUM!

The place I used to GM is going out of business. Only took them 5 months for them to tank after I left.

Will post recipes next week.

A delicate balance that not everyone can do. Good on them if it was palatable.

FWIW - DO NOT try cinnamon tequila with Orchata/Rumchata... It separates the flavors and renders it disgusting.

It was. Never had it with the seeds until going to that place. Now I love it with pomegranate in it.

It was amazing. My favorite drink there. I had 2, my friend(who had never been before) liked them so much she had 3.

From their menu....

My roommate got me a mini dobage cake to congratulate me on my new job. Whata guy. I've got chocolate sprinkles all over me already.

if it has anything else than fresh lime juice, tequila, and triple sec then it's not a margarita anymore.

I want to know how they make their own orgeat.

Pretty hard to create almond extract on the spot.

Then again... I make my own nutmeg syrup so I shouldn't be a doubter.
