This past weekend, Momoa made an appearance at the Indiana Comic Con. The actor took the opportunity to meet several fans who wanted to see Aquaman in the flesh. One fan, in particular, asked Momoa to sign a "Unite The Seven" poster after holding a discussion about DC haters and why they should join the DC Universe.

While that's all good, the shocking truth about this story is how Momoa signed the character poster. We understand that along with his signature, he wrote the words, "F--k Marvel." No doubt this is causing an uproar with Marvel fans, and DC fans are likely enjoying this little bit of harmless banter.

He can talk shite all he wants, but at the end of the day, he's still Aquaman.

It will take more than Aquaman and some swear words to call it "shots fired." What Marvel has done and is still to do has changed cinema and have reinvigorated comics. They are in another multiverse than DC lol.

Sounds bitter that the new Avengers movie is going to kick arse.

In all honestly, I like DC's comics and animated stuff way more than Marvel's, but this contempt that's coming from DC is just ridiculous. I mostly blame Goyer on it, but it's clear to me that the people who are leading the DC franchise just doesn't understand this universe. Man of Steel was a simply horrible start to this and I don't believe for a second that when they were filming this that they had a Justice League planned from the start. The tone is simply off. Leveling Metropolis and then just having Superman mock them for not being able to track him after the hundreds of thousands of lives lost is clearly largely his fault? I just don't like the direction I'm seeing from this.

DC is more concerned with these movies being an edgy, joyless alternative to Marvel, when most movie-goers have moved passed the post-Dark Knight gritty realism BS.

Marvel managed to score the 3rd highest earning movie in the world last year featuring a talking raccoon while DC still can't make a watchable Superman or Green Lantern film. But yeah, frick Marvel.

I don't think DC knew what to make this movie about until people started reacting to the destruction of Metropolis like it was a big deal Supes let that happen. I don't think it occurred to them the staggering loss of life and city wide destruction would be what people talked about the most. So they basically stumbled upon a plot device for Batman to get involved. I just don't feel like it was on purpose. I think they were going for an "edgier" feel, and created the impetus for the next movie's conflict on accident. If that makes sense.

Perfect sense. They really didn't think this shite through and tried to make it the exact opposite of Superman Returns in every sense of the word. They succeeded, but to the film's detriment. It is the antithesis to Superman Returns, but it's just mindless violence. From what I've heard behind the scenes, the only person who knew it was a bad idea for Superman to kill Zod was Christopher Nolan himself, but I'm guessing they took none of his advice and he had minimal impact on this film. They just tried to make it "The Dark Knight: Superman Edition", but they didn't have a clue why that wouldn't work, especially right out of the gates.

And now they're jacking off on the corpse of "The Dark Knight Returns" simply because Batman fights Superman and it's probably the second most popular comic of all time next to Watchmen. They clearly don't understand why that comic works, or they wouldn't even think of bringing that up this soon.
