Not being able to pay for the groceries is no excuse for not understanding the concept of the store. Wal Mart started selling groceries in the late 80's for people like you.

Hehe..I knew you were going to say that. Walmart is for people like me that are SMART with their money. While you are trying to impress the next hipster while rubbing elbows with each other in a bar in a grocery store, paying for overpriced items, i'll be at Walmart, saving money. Rich people get richer by being smart with their money, not trying to impress each other. Enjoy living in your apartment, driving your F250 and maxing out your credit card, living paycheck to paycheck.

I don't buy steaks from Walmart. I buy them at a local mom & pop store, cut fresh. Try something else to impress me besides calling me names if you want to seem educated.

Care to share what mom and pop store is butchering steaks for you less than Wal Mart. By your standards, if you're paying more then you're just trying to be trendy.

No I don't care to share. But the family has been in business for about 50 years if that helps. I never said they were cheaper than Walmart for steaks. Trendy? me? thanks...

What you said was, anyone shopping at whole foods is wasting their money cause you can shop at Wal mart for less. Now you are comparing lagneaux's to whole foods. Sorry but the price ain't that much different. So you are wasting your money on steaks or you're still too dumb to figure out how to shop at whole foods, including drinking a beer at the bar before buying a six pack. Exactly, you are there to EAT. Not drink. While you're at it, throw out water or soft drinks too. YOu are there to EAT. Only eating solid foods is what a restaurant was intended for. Wine, beer, etc... is not what restaurants are supposed to be for. Leave that to the hipster cretins....
Seriously Joseph. Have you ever tried pairing wine/beer with food? I'm not talking about drinking bud light with your mcrib sandwich. I"m talking good beer with good food. Beer compliments food, much better in my mind, than wine. So many varieties with beer and each can bring out certain flavors with food. Try oysters and an oatmeal stout. Or an IPA with Mexican food. Hefeweizen or Saison with fish.

I never understood this. New Orleans may be the only place in the state that gets it, as many of the good restaurants have a wide variety of good craft beer.
But you'll go into a steak house and they will have over 500 bottles of wine. You ask about their beer and they have their "domestics" which is the big 3 shite beers, then the "imports" which is comprised of mexican lagers, and strangely Abita, Blue Moon, and Sam Adams.
With the incredible growth the craft beer industry has been growing through, you would think the restaurant industry would take advantage of it.
