If I was hungry and going to a bar, sure. Some bars have really legit food.

All things being equal, absolutely. And as was previously stated, many of those restaurants are pretty similar.

No. I also choose bars based on beer selection.....and grocery stores.....and sometimes friends' houses. I think that's all.

I've never noticed Joe before.

He is right. It is quite impressive to be the twattiest of them all

So you don't go to a bar to drink based on the amount of women to try to get laid?

WOW...some peoples children.

This is the wrong board for that kind of attitude about bars.

You're really right. With the crowds they already get, and decent food at a decent price, a bit of good beer would really be awesome.

I know! I don't understand at all why any local place would not offer a good craft selection.

I get chains being locked into a certain selection, but it makes no sense to just have the basics when you can do so much more.

And I really like Sammy's.

Yep. All things being equal, why not at least have the option for an interesting beer?

Joe is the same guy that can't figure out why Whole Foods has a bar.

You are 100% correct on that tigerfootball10. I wouldn't be caught dead drinking there. AND I did attempt to go shopping at the Whole Foods in my area. Problem for me is they are WAY overpriced.
$15 a pound for shrimp? are you kidding? Do I need to pay $4 for a dozen of organic eggs? I don't think so....
