Cole is a plus defensively and Tyreke is one of the worst defenders in the league.

You sure about that? Cole has a defensive real plus minus of -2.3 this year. 64/79 for PGs. Last year he was -1.74. He's a pretty bad defender.

Tyreke is a bad defender. -.58 this year. But he is very good on offense. 4.19. Thats behind only Harden, Korver, Lou Williams and tied with Klay Thompson amongst SG. Behind only Russ, Curry, Kyrie, CP3, and Lillard from PG.

Tyreke is worlds better than Cole and its not even remotely debatable. Tyreke is a bad defender but not as bad as Cole.

like Reke in at the end of the game with EG playing the point. Gordon KNOWS to pass

I agree. They specifically took the ball out of his hands in the end after a couple of shitty possessions. But I wonder if you don't sit Evans in a situation like that. The last offensive play worked and Gordon found the open corner 3. Except that guy was Evans.

I don't know how sitting him would realistically work, but there has to be a better option than having him in the corners unwilling to shoot.

You've got to give the bucks credit, they had a plan to keep the ball of out AD's hands and it worked for the most part. A lot of sets ran for AD got blown up and the ball ended up in Reke's hands at the end of the shot clock.

Definitely. Bucks are a good defensive team with incredible length at almost every position.

Same time, this is what worries me about the Pels in the playoffs. Can the offense get good looks consistently v good defenses? Will guys (Evans?) play smart when teams overload on Davis? Relying on Evans High PnR in crunch time is quite different than doing that with CP3 or running ISO w/ Westbrook/Durant.

They need to get the 8 seed to answer some of these questions.

I agree, making the playoffs will give us much more clarity on the direction we need to go.

Cole was an appropriate name last night. He shows some of the inconsistency that made him hated in Miami.
