quote:

“The way I left — if there was anything I would say I'm disappointed in, the way I kind of handled that. I don't want to say even kind of — I handled that situation,” Jennings said. “Because I was — without coming out and saying it then — there was a sense of pridefulness to where it did hurt."

Jennings told SI that he would "definitely" reconcile with the Packers, and he told Sirius/XM's Stephen A. Smith he would be willing to rejoin the organization.

Insincere apology. Funny how people are only sorry when they need help because their shitty behavior came back and bit them in the arse.

I doubt it. Read the thank you he wrote to Vikings fans. Jennings is a class act.

I'm a Packers fan, and I never understood why he did that. I was never angry about it or anything, I just thought it was kind of dumb.

Part of me thinks he was just trying to show off for Vikings fans (there's real hate there for the Packers), but part of me thinks he had a little insight into what made Rodgers tick and thought he could troll him successfully and get under his skin.

Either way, it was sort of stupid at the time. The guy grew up in the Packers organization and won a SB ring with them -- why not have the best of both worlds and both enjoy your legacy with them and your payday with the Vikings? He's a good dude, so it's not like he was some locker room cancer or anything.
