LSU softball team projected to be ranked #1 for 1st time EVER! Congrats!

Looking good for LSU women's softball team to soon have their best ranking EVER in the history of the school. They could/should be #1 based on recent results. Wow! That's quite an accomplishment. They have a cool field as well. Geaux Lady Tigers!
Last week:
FLA 27-0
ORE 20-3
MICH 22-3
LSU 25-0
This week (projected):
LSU 27-1 (beat FLA 2 of 3)
FLA 28-2
ORE 23-3 (lost to FLA earlier in season)
MICH 24-4

Oregon absolutely beat the piss out of a pretty decent Oregon State team in 3 games by scores of 10-0, 9-0, and 23-12. That last game ended when they ran out of beer, I hear...
Anyways, Oregon will probably get some votes to bump up to number 1 also. It may be close, but I think we get the nod.

I noticed those blowout scores as well. I hope the Florida victory (3-0) over Oregon is recognized also. We should be #2 in worse-case scenario and I'm good with that for now. Geaux Lady Tigers!

Florida beat Oregon handily twice and we beat Florida at their place twice. By Highlander rules we cut off their heads and assume their powers.

I read some ridiculous stat that Florid's pitching had given up 28 runs in their first 27 games combined (27-0 record). Didn't LSU score 27 in THREE games this weekend?
Baseball is away this weekend. The #1 ranked Tigers will play the (projected) #6 Oklahoma Sooners this weekend.

And LSU won 2/3 against the undefeated #1 team in the nation on the road. You sure is dumb baw.

I don't look at it that way...I look at it as a chance to earn some new fans. There is quite a buzz about softball right now. I know a few people who have followed the team, but who haven't ever been to a game. I welcome those people to come on out and see how much fun the games are and how great the team is. I think once those people come to the park for the first time, they will be hooked...
