Just checked the numbers and Vaccaro loses us only $4600. So he is tradable for picks. The other number was if he was cut.

He would fetch the most value in trade and save the most cap though so possible.

I guess that's correct. We'd save the almost $7M salary and avoid another off season negotiating a mega contract...those haven't worked out too well for the team so far.

I think we have a chance to field a very solid team.

The attitude adjustment alone will make the Saints more competitive. I think they'll be around 9-10 wins with what we have. Nail the draft and I could see them being a 13-3 team again. But I do like how they are setting up for the future as well.

we're going to end up getting victor cruz from the gaints if that is the trading partner

No way in hell Giants let Odell get away.

Well I'd make a mess in my pants for sure, but I'd give that a .00001% chance of happening.

One of the best WRs in the league with 3 years left on his rookie deal!? He's almost as untouchable as Aaron Rodgers

he is the most untouchable player out there for sure

rookie deal
already arguably the best receiver in the league
plays in NY so even if the giants considered it, he'd throw a shite fit

I gave 10 reasons why he's the most untradeable player in the league a couple of weeks ago

like I said, if we're getting a WR for Jordan it's cruz and maybe a late pick

and when Payton is at his best (which he wasn't last year) he's a top 3 coach in the league.

He was going through the motions and some of the players took advantage of it. His ego is back in full force and the guys who were part of problem are being jettisoned is quick fashion. Unfortunately, the cap situation forces the team to cut bate with some non troublemakers.

if they have to trade Cam Jordan, that will be absolutely pathetic on our front office's part.

He isn't agreeing to a paycut. He will be either traded or cut. If he isn't the one traded, that tells me he wants to test his value in the open market.

Where are you getting that he isn't agreeing? That was Grubbs and now he is gone. Made a good move too because he got a nice deal from KC.

All indications was that Evans was reworking his deal, earlier in the offseason (sometime before the Graham trade).

However, me saying "I think they want to keep" him, isn't an indication I don't think they will let him go. Its just that you will now have new C and both new Guards....I don't like the sound of that.

That's true but that's life in the new NFL. Until the league comes up with a plan to offset the staggering salaries QBs are getting, we have to live with it.
