But I got a chance to meet the new pastor Mike Haman through something non-church related a few weeks ago. That guy is one of the most generous, down to earth people I've ever been around. Heck, I might even have to go check out one of his services one Sunday...

I don't think Rizzo was ever referred to as an a-hole. What brought him down was being too nice.

they have some dumbasses at Our Savior's in lafayette that are on fricking direct deposit. i guess that's commonplace.

no better way to get money than convince them that they have to tithe to be saved. if i ever have a lot of money, i will definitely open a mega church

GODDAMMIT! I already took an Ambien. I'm either gonna miss the thread or it's gonna get weird up in here.

I've become pretty skeptical of people in general as I've gotten older, especially pastors of large churches This guy's different though. Real, real solid and self-deprecating. Pretty young guy too

I'm sure he'll generously move funds from the church bank account to his personal account, if that's what you mean by generous

While I was watching The Walking Dead tonight, there was a scene where the priest was standing in his make shift church.

It got me thinking, during the zombie apocalypse, there is no use for money. How, exactly, does his business model work in this new moneyless world?

I'm really concerned about the men of the cloth in the post apocalypse world.

Mark 10:25

Its easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.

I bet joel osteen never preached that one. a-hole speakers who call themselves pastors and con people into giving up their money.
