It would have been nice if things could have been worked out but oh well, it's life. Every fan should be excited about the team's approach to this offseason though especially this new mindset of stockpiling of picks. I just hope they don't trade any picks to move up because the potential is there to build for the present as well as the post Brees era. I know many fans freaked out with all the moves & the cutting & trading of well known players but an organization that stays status quo is one who has a drastic decline following the loss of future Hall of Fame QB.

Look at the Colts the year they didn't have Manning. Up until that point, they had been plugging free agents in trying to chase titles. Without Peyton, everyone got to see how old & depleted that roster was. The Saints were headed down the same road but with the recent moves, the organization has given themselves the opportunity to prevent that decline.
