This is just making me angry at the writers who basically make up drama.

This got me pumped!!!
quote:
Of course, it didn't hurt that Lewis will be joined next year by fellow Oregon State teammate Brandon Browner.
"That was someone who took me under his wing ... when I was a freshman, coming from New Orleans when I didn't have much," Lewis said. "He was someone who sat me down and showed me the ropes and how to adjust to the West Coast life."
Lewis said as soon as defensive coordinator Rob Ryan mentioned Browner's name, he said "Coach, that's your guy. We've got to get him."
And he wasn't above a bit of pleading to do it.
"I begged him man," Lewis said. "I said 'You need to stay here.' I think I helped make that decision easy for him."
Lewis described Browner as a "very competitive," player and "one of the best in the business."
"He'll definitely make me improve my game," Lewis said. "He feels like he's the best. I feel like I'm the best. We're going to push each other, basically just like he did with Richard Sherman in Seattle and (Darrelle) Revis in New England. I'm definitely excited. I'm fired up.
"That's somebody who's going to come in and push everybody to get where we need to get. And that's to the Super Bowl...
"That's a guy who's going to work extremely hard. I'm pretty sure some of the receivers at practice are going to be kind of upset at him because he goes hard every play. And that's the kind of guy you want."

It's hard to not like Lewis.
Dude is a hard worker.
Watching him play despite that fricked-up looking injury was impressive.

I know I'm not alone with this but Lewis became one of my favorite players on this team last year.

Oh I agree! I honestly think he's the most important person on the team not named Brees.

That doesn't even include that

He told ESPN he would be a distraction and not show up to OTAs if his contract wasn't guaranteed.
just screams immaturity.

Dude was probably freaking out about his job security and let it get the best of him. Nothing really to hold against him.

This is exactly what I thought and I don't blame him. I would've probably freaked out too. He went about it the wrong way, but I don't blame him for freaking out.

If there's anyone to give the benefit of the doubt to, its Lewis.

Why don't you frick sticks post his great comments from the whole last year that really make him sound like a great guy in stead of just focussing on the one weekend of shite he posted to twitter. We all know about it, you aren't bringing anything new, just shitting on a very good Saints player.
Kindly frick Off. TIA
ETA: obviously those comments were not meant for you Jenny.

Don't root for him then. No one is making you root for him / the saints. But it you have to then at least own up to being a contrarian rather than shite talking our players.
