What happens if Hernandez is somehow found not guilty?

Honestly I think Hernandez is guilty as sin. But, Juries are stupid and there was no murder weapon found. There is less evidence in this case than the OJ Simpson trial.
Do you think the reaction to a not guilty would be worse than the OJ Simpson verdict?
I think it would be much worse because of social media, but we don't see every stage of the Hernandez case on TV like we did the OJ Simpson trial, so it's tough to say. Thoughts?

Go to sleep. You won't have to worry about this.

Doesn't he have a separate murder trial pending in Boston?
Posted on 3/13/15 at 12:50 am to ForeverGator
The Saints sign him to replace Graham.

First answer: civil suit.
Second answer: not nearly as bad as OJ.

probably have enough dirt in Gainesville to make him and Myer cellmates

He goes home and falls into a life of inexistance. Not like he will ever play football or bein the public eye again. Unless he was to continue being a psycho and gets into trouble again later down the road, which wouldn't surprise me

I am abroad, but reading the news, this trial doesn't seem to have fully captured the attention of the nation or have half the sizzle of the OJ trial. And that translates into the magnitude of the reaction to the verdict.
Edit- I'm saying the reaction to the verdict will be lukewarm compared to the OJ verdict.

Hernandez isn't 1% of the celebrity that OJ was. No Heisman Trophy. No NFL rushing record. No comparison.

You dont find comparison in two professional football players that murdered people?

I don't think you realize how famous OJ was in his prime. EVERYONE knew OJ even if they didn't watch football, he was as least as famous as Bo Jackson before the murders. Aaron Hernandez was only known to NFL fans. Sure there is a comparison but Rae Carruth is more like Hernandez than Hernandez is to OJ.

OJ wasn't in his prime in 1993 boss

He was long retired from the NFL, but he was still a big celebrity. He was an actor, an advertising pitchman, and cultivated a genial public image. Everyone thought they knew him, and what they knew of him, they liked.
Hernandez is just a tattooed football player.

No shite, maybe I wasn't clear. What I meant was he was so famous in his prime that EVERYONE knew who he was which made it a huge deal when he did kill. It would be like if Bo Jackson committed a murder today, even though he isn't playing it would be a huge deal because even people who don't follow football would be all over it and it would be a way bigger trial than Hernandez.

No, they don't compare.

Dude OJ was doing bit parts in piece of shite comedies at that point. I'm 40 skippy, I have a pretty decent grasp of OJs noteriety and accomplishments
AH's trial is definitely nowhere near the spectacle of the "trial of the century" and "dream team" etc. But there's definitely comparisons between two sociopath dirtbag NFL killing machines
