wasn't Carpenter the one that got drafted by the Seahawks late in the 1st round that caught Saban off guard?
100% certain Saban was sitting in the green room with Mark Ingram and family.
he kind of looked like... oh yeah... I coached Carpenter too.
didn't look happy for him at all.
but I'm sure he was.

Carpenter was not very good with the Seahawks.
