you thought he'd be the player who could have a PER that was only ever matched by Wilt, Lebron, and MJ.

I still don't understand what it means that he can get significantly better.

I thought he'd be a top 10 player. I think people didn't give him enough credit for his offense at Kentucky.

A lot of people seemed to underrate the fact that he grew up as a guard.

I watched every game he played at Kentucky and he would show flashes, but I never expected him to be this deadly from midrange.

He was the perfect center for Cal's dribble drive offense, but it sort of prevented him from showing off his true potential on the offensive end.

He's already about 2 feet away from having Dirk range with 800x more athleticism

Not at all. In fact, when I assumed we would get getting the 2nd or 3rd pick, I actually convinced myself that Thomas Robinson would be a better player, and was glad we didn't have the pressure of taking AD #1 As soon as we won the lottery, I was driving with a friend at at the time, and we went absolutely nuts. I still had no idea he would be this dominant offensively.

Yeah, but what does a rich man's Dirk on Offense and a rich man's Tyson Chandler on Defense look like? The closest thing we've seen to that might have actually been in our own houses playing nerf hoop against smaller siblings.

I am one of the few that said he would be great.

I didn't think he would be top 10 fantasy guy though - his ft% and blocks were underrated by me

I think I remember talking about how his jumper had potential and how I could see him hitting a lot of 3s eventually. I didn't think his game would be so refined so fast.

It's true. I said he'd be Dwight and KG combined. Said he would fill out and muscle up way before that ever happened.

ESPN should hire you, no doubt.
