I just got the GTA V for ps4 installed I havent really played online ever.
What is a good way to make money and level up pretty quick to level 12? All I seem to do is run around and blast other players, then they come after me and I get owned.

A few races and few mission should get you to level 12 in no time.
Shouldn't take more than an hour, hell maybe 30 minutes.

Once I started playing online, I stopped playing single player. So much more stuff to do and way more customization options.

I don't even play campaign anymore,
There is a learning curve to it though and some folks can make the starting process frustrating.
I would suggest doing missions and races until you get to about level 24 or so, at this point you can purchase your first Assault Rifle. You can do alright with an SMG, but if you want to go after other players, you are gonna want to have that Assault Rifle.

Thanks, I'll check it out tonight. I got a new group of PSN friends, 3 girls and 3 guys who all play it and I'd like to stick with them because they are all around my age and cool as shite.

Off topic, but can one of you hackers or people in the know give me some money? I'm level 55, but I have not shite. A friend was able to get $200 billion and bought a bunch of items before the money taken away by RockStar.

I haven't played this game in almost a year. My current rank online is 71. I just bought a high rise apartment and when I walk into the designated "Heist planning room" of my apartment, it says "Heists unlock at rank 12". Is that supposed to be a separate rank or something?
