@RapSheet: Curtis Lofton cut with a “failed physical” designation. Why? Voluntary shoulder scope on 1/7. Semantics. Will be fully cleared in 2-3 weeks

This is a non-issue unless he had an injury guarantee(which he didn't).

You release players for one of three reasons: salary, injury, or skill. We could have listed any of those for him.

Like the other tweet said this was likely a case of full disclosure so other teams would know about it (some players trick teams into signing them by not disclosing this type of stuff; happened to us with Herring a few years back).
