Both teams are experiencing injuries to key players but won't back down and meanwhile, exceeding all naysayers' predictions (the pelicans that is).

Of course, I'm talking about the pelicans and the thunder. Suns will hang around but they're all but done without their previous core.

Regardless if we make it or not, this will continue to be an interesting finish.

Geaux Pels! Nice to be following a winning team in such a position.

frick tanking and everything it represents.

I believe the rule is this non-word is only allowable if accompanied with a Boston accent.

Pelicans play a back-to-back vs. 2 teams they theoretically should beat... but that hasn't mattered much this season... esp. on the road

but if the Pels do take care of business against the Bucks & Nets... w/ the Thunder off both nights... we will take the 8 seed on our own

then on Wednesday w/ the Pelicans off... OKC hosts the Clippers (on ESPN)

these next 3 days could be very important

Most dictionaries list irregardless as "nonstandard" or "incorrect" usage and recommend that "regardless" should be used instead.

Go check yourself before you wreck uself.

I have to admit, this is one of the most interesting NBA seasons Ive ever watched. I die a little inside when we lose to Boston and beat Memphis and stay 1/2 game out of the playoffs.

We need to treat those games against the Bucks and Nets like playoff games. Here's hoping we take care of business and get the 8 seed.

OKC’s magic number is 19, NOLA owns tiebreaker. If Phoenix makes a last gasp, OKC has tiebreaker, magic number 16.

Phoenix and NOLA play twice more before playoffs, which is a little help for OKC

Only help for OKC if we lose.

@1jreezy A realistic number for OKC looking at remaining schedule is 13-6. So NOP would have to go 14-5 to get the playoff spot.

interesting thought in that tweet stream

GSW has 2 games left with the pels...conceivably, they could tank them both, which would obviously greatly benefit the pels, assuming that GSW would rather play NOP than OKC in the first round

I think the game next Friday is too early for them to throw, plus it's at home, but April 7th on the road might be reasonable for them to play the positioning.

The way we've played this season the most concerning games left on the schedule besides @GS are @Phoenix (day before GS), and then a back to back @Sac and @Portland. I'm not saying we'll win the rest, just that those concern me the most. 14-5 will obviously be unlikely, but isn't inconceivable.

however much I would love playoff basketball, i would not love getting blown out 4-0 in the first round. i hope we play GSW at full strength and are competitive against them
