That's not that much. My company pays up to 10k depending on the position.

We get $1,000 to bring someone in, and another $1,000 if they make it through the probationary period.

Yeah, but your company probably doesn't have nearly as many open positions as police officers.

Even if that is the case I would still bet nobody gets more than 5 people a year from this program.
