This was on Thursday. Finally went there for the first time. Nice looking comfortable place. That night was wing night, but we wasnt in the mood for wings, but we ordered 6 of them w/ the masons signature sauce just to try them out. They were really good and flavorful besides the sauce on them. The next time I have a craving for wings, im gonna go there and pile up on them.
By suggestion from my sister earlier that day, me and the Mrs both ordered the Cajun Ribeye w/ smashed potatoes.
I really enjoyed the steak, while my wife found it meh. (she has extremely boring taste buds).
The service was really really good and fast.
This was the first time ive been to the restaurant, but my job has ordered take out from them about 2 years ago and I had the shrimp burger. Everybody raves about it, but i found it average.
Overall I really liked the place. Good set up with a good atmosphere and crew.
I have spoken!

I really like Masons. Haven't been in a long time. Their burger is my fave mostly bc of the buns they use. I think brioche. Love their Bloody Mary too bc you can check off exactly what you want in it... Made to order. They also serve raw oysters and are convenient to Pville crowd.

Their BBQ burger is better than the shrimp imo.
Half pound patty with pulled pork, BBQ sauce, jalapenos.
Like others said, happy hour is great. $3 spirits

Fast service on a Thursday? Lucky you. I love Mason's though, so even if it's slow I have no problems. Try the Carribean wings next time. I usually get 6 of those and 6 Mason's signature. You also need to try a burger.
Eta: As others have said, BBQ burger is legit. I also like the Bacon cheese burger (with cheddar instead of Swiss). Shrimp burger just isn't my thing.

we went there around 6pm, i guess it was right before the rush.
we were seated about 3 min after we got there, and had all of our food ordered and delivered to our table within 20 min. All the waiters were bringing out wings by the plateloads to all the other tables.
Im gonna try to Caribbean wings next time. im a big fan of BWW Caribbean wings

I'm surprised you found a parking spot on wing night. That place could benefit from an expansion.

No, its some really sugary sweet bun. Not my style.
Has anyone else noticed the meat quality of the burgers has gone down? Last couple times I have had subpar burgers, and really has turned me off of the place

It's been a while. I just remember the sweet bun with the burger patty and cheese were the perfect mix. Sweet and salty. I don't usually order burgers but I do there :)

i like the volume of the place,, or, maybe better description would be, lack of volume.. good atmosphere, but low enough to still be able to talk..

Parking was packed when I got there, but we got lucky and followed a guy walking out back to his car, and snagged his spot right in front of the Entergy power station or whatever u call it.

It's a good place. We only ever go for brunch on Saturday or Sunday mornings.

I work across the street and have yet to go for lunch. Their regular food doesn't excite me, though I do like the burgers.
I love their brunch though.

Brunch is fantastic. Eggs Benedict and $4 bottomless champagne. My absolute favorite meal.

Happy hour is amazing. It's almost impossible to run up a $20 bar tab. Food is good, but not special...New air assisted flush toilets in the men's room. I actually cried when I saw them.
I wonder if Mason's upgraded the AC in the bar area.

the Cajun Ribeye
Get it frequently. Somewhat inconsistent, but some have ranked among the best I have eaten in BR (and yes, that includes RC, Flemmings, Sullivan's and Does).
