I'd rather LSU remain a 10 or 11 seed for the trny, than to win a game or two and wind up in the 8 or 9 spot. Give me 7 or 10 or 11.......I'm afraid with the double bye and a win in their first game they wind up 8 or 9. They will need 2 wins, imo, to make it to a 7 seed.....win the trny and they are a 5 or 6 seed....imho

LSU is a 10 at worst as of right now. They run the table and win the SEC they are 5 or 6. I don't think they will because they haven't shown they can be consistent over a few games....but the committee has always rewarded teams that were hot at the end.....you think we would only get a 2 spot bump with a trny championship? Guaranteed worst a 7 seed and best a 5.....imho, if getting there they beat KY, they end up a 5 or 6.

Beat Texas A&M, lose to Kentucky = 10 seed IMO...right where you want to be

I'd say LSU is a 10/9 right now.
LSU will likely play TAMU in round 3 of SECT. If TAMU wins, LSU will be a 10/11.
If LSU wins, TAMU is out the NCAAT, and LSU will play UK (most likely). If LSU loses to UK, then it's still a 10/9 seed.
If LSU beats UK, then LSU moves into the 9/8/7 territory.
If LSU wins the SECT (finals likely Ark), LSU is looking at a 7 seed. IMO.
