So the Mighty Dallas Mavericks were upset by the young Golden State Warriors back in 2007. Could we witness another 8 vs 1 upset this year with the Pels taking down the best team in the NBA?? I hope so! I think they match up well and have a legitimate chance if we do get the 8 seed! #TAKEFLIGHT

Only way the Pels have a prayer in that series is if Jrue can play and AD goes supernova for the whole series.

Sadly, the latter is more likely.

Nice, wish I could do the same. I'll be stuck at the office until 4:30, and I have physical therapy. If I get out of PT early enough, I'll snag some last minute tickets on Stubhub.

Well yes of course. The Spurs going down is always fun to watch. Memphis kept it close in the second round too. Should be interesting this year. Big game on Saturday. Griz going down!

They honestly should have won the 2nd round series. Lost a 3OT game 4 that would have put them up 3-1 in the series.

Most other teams I might agree, but Golden State's such a tough matchup for us

Well GS did wax us at their place earlier in the year 110-85, but we did take them to OT in the blender. Those games were with the weak bench we had earlier in the season. I think the guys we have now could give them issues. GS doesnt play defense giving up 99.9 ppg, and ranked 18th in the league. We've shown we can put up points scoring over 100 in 13 out of our last 15 games. I think it would be a great series.

IIRC, the OT game the the Blender was without AD as well.

That is not too bad considering they play a lot of offensive teams in their conference.

PPG is a terrible metric for judging defensives. No adjustment for pace.

The Warriors are #1 in the league in defensive efficiency.

Still giving up points though. They may play fast paced, but if the Pels can slow the game down and not try to match them shot for shot they have a chance in the series.

They give up the least amount of points in the league per 100 possessions.

I actually think yall would give them fits because I don't think they have anyone that can guard AD. Their best lineups include Draymond at the 4 and AD would destroy him.
