Harden
Curry
Westbrook
Isaiah Thomas
Lebron

I guess the missed games from injury, plus the Pels record started to hurt AD.

Just saw this on Sportscenter, no link.

If AD leads this team to a playoff berth he will absolutely be in the discussion.

He was on PTI thought and Kornheiser asked who'd he rather have between Davis or Westbrook and Simmons said "Davis, no question".

Simmons is a fricking moron, Isiah Thomas retired from the pistons in 1994. Shows what he knows about basketball.

Hard to really disagree, as much as I hate to admit it. He's obviously joking about Thomas, but Davis' injuries hit at the worst possible time. And even in the games he played in between injuries he had some stinkers by his standards, like against the magic.

However if he plays like he did last night and the pels finish 15-6, 48-34 overall, or better then he'll be right back in the mix

i was of course joking about thomas. Simmons is ok in my book. hard to argue Harden, Westbrook and Curry aren't having MVP'ish seasons. All three are surrounded by more talent than AD, AD's time is very near, he is a franchise player and is coming into elite status. He won't win MVP this year, but it will be soon.

Hard to put AD in the discussion without him on the court.

I don't remember anyone in recent history that has won the MVP that has missed any significant time. No way you miss 20% of the games and can win an MVP. The reason RW won't win it even with the sick strectch he is having
