maybe, contact the owner and make sure it has never happened before, if it has, i'd report it or go ahead and just put it down yourself

frick, man, stop throwing out legal terms you don't understand.
And also, do you have any idea what you have to do to establish "mental anguish?" If the guy can post on the internet, unless he's in construction or something, will have no lost wages. He can recover for his medical expenses probably and maybe have a bit tacked on for pain and suffering. Maybe. That's it.

any good lawyer will sue for collateral damages, actual damages and theoretical damages. you don't get it if you don't ask for it.

It made puncture wounds and I got a tetnus shot but I still have to go back and find out if has rabies. I was running around a corner and it jumped up and bit me.
