They whore them up bc they know audience is mainly men.
I love hot females as much as the next guy... But in some instances it's over done.
Holly Saunders was the start of it.

I don't know the exact numbers ..but I do know from personal experience the past 10-12 years playing numerous rounds of golf in numerous states and courses I can count on one hand the number of women 4somes I've seen.
I'm encouraging my daughter to play.. But let's not act like they are taking over.

Taking over? No. But they are the demographic that is showing growth in an industry that's losing players. I hope they do more to encourage them to play on TGC and other places. Golf needs all the growth it can get.
Complain all you want, but females on TGC are here to stay.

You made it sound like they are on the show bc of their market share they own in golf.

Good channel is selling sexy females for ratings.
They don't care how qualified or unqualified they are... Long as they are appealing to the viewers eye.

And majority of TGC personalities and guests are male. Having good looking women helps with the male viewers, but also gives the growing number of women watching the channel and joining the game a voice on TGC.

Of course they are there for looks. Yes, more women are beginning to play golf, which is good. I too intend on teaching my daughter the game. As of right now, if girls are just not terrible, they can play at many colleges on scholarship. As a Dad would you want your daughter looking up to the women on GC right now or Nancy Lopez? The women now are promoting that you can look good, keep you femininity and still play the game.
