No shite. Whats your point? I have been around many dogs that don't stink. But rather than trying to make mine not stink, I should kill it? Please shut up.

Not discounting the benefits of Happy Jack. But if the pup has some sort of infection, shampoo will only be a transient fix. Need to find our what's making the little fricker stink to solve the problem.

If you give it a good bath with that and it still stinks, you've got problems. That's some badass stuff. It makes coon dogs smell like country flowers.

He has been to the vet for shots and shite, but he has been stinking for the entire three years I have had him. You think he could have some sort of infection for that long that went unnoticed by the vet that many times?

I'll agree with that. Bathe the dog with Happy Jack. If it still smells, you got something that needs veterinary assistance. If not, DS just saved you some money.

I don't buy dogs when people give them away for free.

I guess they didn't give him away because he stank. Must be because he was too cute.

It's possible the vet(s) missed something. Maybe they just assumed he was an outside smelly dog. I have three that fit that description. Try the Happy Jack. If it works, great. If not, go to the vet and tell them EXACTLY what has happened. It really could be something as simple as a change of diet.

First of all ask your vet.
I like to give my dogs a vinegar rinse after the bath. about 1 cup to 1 gallon of water. Rinse throughly with water then twice with vinegar mix. Jus sayin.

Anal glands might be blocked. If that is the case it does not matter how many baths you give him. He will still stink.

I have a stinky basset too. I recently bought burt's bees shampoo and conditioner. It's baking soda based. It's worked well this past week.

Musky odor....probably anal gland issue. Bring him to the vet to have them expressed.

I have to clean my dog's ears regularly or he stinks. He's apparently prone to ear infections. Neither of us enjoy the process, but it takes care of the problem.

Hounds just stink. I might try Happy Jack and BB's. They're fat bastards, so I'm sure I won't be out any money by buying both.

Fabreeze. They claim it eliminates pet odor.

my dog never stinks except for in his ears sometimes, but that just means he's getting an ear infection so we clean them and he's fine.
