This happens to me often. Most of the time it involves me spending time and talking to my dad who has been dead since 2006.

I wake up and think I can talk to him and try to arrange a phone call or something, then reality comes crashing down and makes my day start out shitty.

Does anyone else experience this and if so what is the dream subject matter?

I dreamed I was eating a giant marshmallow and woke up and my pillow was missing.

Sometimes I think life is a dream within a dream within a dream and reality as we know is not as we know it and we are all just asleep somewhere stuck in a dream we can't wake up from until we die.

I had a dream I was banging my ex's sister...took a lot longer than 5 minutes to get over that one.

I've woken up just knowing that I killed somebody and I was going to jail. Boy I sure was happy when I found out it was just rape.

One time I was smoking weed in a dream and I woke up feeling stoned for a few minutes.
