SLOW THE FRICK DOWN!!!
WHY? 112 is perfectly normal.
Just keep smashing. It'll straighten out. When you drill one, take stock of what you did and repeat. When you get on the course, breathe.

320 off line not bad; 275 in fairway you will probably lose 12 strokes. Might need to hit your 4 iron for that distance

I was being sarcastic ab 320. My last few rounds Ive used nothing but 4 hybrid off the box and have scored better due to keeping it in play.

I got down to a 1, now I'm about a four. (winter) Keep the ball in play, work on your swing then worry about the distance. My best rounds were using a 3 wood off tee 60% of driver holes. Play to your strengths and work on your weaknesses. Golf is humbling but a great game. Hope you can lower your scores.

it hasn't been, is not, nor ever will be ... the club ...
it is your swing ...
it is your swing ...

You probably need more loft on your driver, 9.5 degrees is pretty salty. Getting fit does help. The only driver I've been fitted for I hit very consistently.

112 is perfectly normal for a 19yr old keep ripping at it. Don't swing softer or whatever that won't make you hit it straighter it will make you hit it shorter. Work on your swing with whatever speed is comfortable to you.
The only thing someone can assume from swing speed is that you need a X-stiff shaft and that will improve accuracy. I have no idea what loft you need because I don't know your ballflight, spin, or type of driver head.
In the words of Hank Haney "why swing slower were you hitting it too far?"

I wish I was 19, turning 30 later this year. How much do you think the correct shaft helps? Correct shaft meaning correct kick point, weight, etc. I guess what I'm really after is, how much correction is possible via settings of a driver ( weight placement, correct loft and shaft). If that makes sense.

Lol... 112 mph swing speed does not compute to a 320 yd avg drive. GTFO!

Still for a young person that is decently athletic that swing speed isn't crazy. I swing faster than that and I'm not macho man.
I think a correct shaft helps a ton with accuracy. It can help with distance too because you will have less spin on the ball. I can tell the difference in a stiff and x-stiff shaft very easily because the stiff shaft will go higher with a tendency to go more left.
As for getting fit for clubs as long as you have some pretty good cavity back irons you're good. New shafts might help but if you get new shafts you might as well get new irons due to cost. Make sure you have a modern Ping or Taylormade driver. That is where technology has improved dramatically in the last 5 years.

Your stupid and apparently can't read the last 17 times I've said 320 was sarcastic. But just an FYI, it commutes, I know I've seen me do it.

just joking with the comment earlier but the shaft makes all the difference, I'd try to get on a trackman and check out launch angle and spin rate and then go from there. If you're hitting it straight right when you swing then the shaft is probably too stiff, if your sniping (hooking) everything the shaft may be too weak. If you're swinging really hard and its ballooning on you you'll want a stiffer flex with a high kick point like most x-flex shafts (High kick point for lower flight, lower kick point for higher ball flight).

No biggie. I have a fast tempo swing. To be honest, I do a little bit of all of the above due to trying to correct my swing. I slice the majority of my mishits, ab 70%. Any advice on address? Getting square with the ball?
