Mother, 8-year-old daughter die in triple shooting in Nola East.

Saw this on the news earlier. The boyfriend is the suspect, don't think they have located him yet. The third victim (mother's female friend) played dead after being shot and when the shooter boyfriend left she ran to the neighbor's house. They said the 8 year old little girl was asleep in her bed when he walked in the room and shot her in the face. Sad. They need to string this guy and the Mardi Gras shooter up in Lafayette square and convey a message.

Kills me that the area has changed from the time I grew up there. I'd drink at El's as a teenager around the corner from these murders. Doubt I'd be found anywhere around there today.

where does it say the b/f is a suspect? i read a nola.com article earlier saying they didnt have any suspects. figured the 39yr old had to see someone
