I've never had a problem with mine, they're the smaller of the two that deliver in my area and they've always done their customers right in order to stay competitive with the larger company.

Did Cad recently buy a new house? I mean he barely starts any threads about it so it's hard to tell.

Don't forget about his very average, boring looking wife that he NEVER EVER brings up.

I have nothing against CAD. I'm not sure we've actually ever interacted personally. He just has like 3-4 talking points he doesn't STFU about is all.

The company I was getting propane from charged me $3.11 back in January. Propane was trading for $1.18 on the board that day. I told them to come pump it out I was not going to pay $3.11. I called around and found it for $1.69 delivered (1000 gal). When I told the old company they said they could match it. I had been using them for 25 years and told them to go to hell they should not have over charged me in the first place. I made them pump it out and went with new company. They guaranteed that price for a year.
I understand if you are delivering 250 gallons or less you have to charge more but that kind of price fluctuation should be illegal.

As the owner of a small propane company I would recommend avoiding the big guys. They're charging almost a $1.50 more per gallon out where we are based.
Try to use the local suppliers if you can, but obviously the best price will win out most of the time.

My family sold propane for 45 years. We weren't sketchy.

They shouldn't be able to put other than what they say they did in your Tank.

The Pump stamps 0.00 and then stamps the gallons pumped, example 100.00 gallons.

All of them sell the same Propane.

Ask your neighbors who they use.

Holy shite some people are mad.

I also help tons of people out on the tech board and maybe stout doesn't like the fact I know more about that stuff than he does.

Yes the 1.69 is what the company I'm going with quoted me going forward and I don't have any desire to continue dealing with anyone who tried to screw me with $3 propane when I first called.

This is what I mean by sketchy.

I went through the same crap as the OP a while back and it was frustrating as hell. Lacox had reasonable people to talk to, non-sketchy and was competitive.

Even if you did, I promise you IDC.

I am in no way mad at you like you keep saying. You just suck sometimes. Can't I think you suck without being mad?
