Nope. This was State Police or DPS (really two separate agencies but Advocate put "state DPS officers" none of which is right) chasing someone for "traffic violations" and they refused to stop. BRPD got involved and then the guy drove at them and they let loose shooting driver and passenger.
I never understand why police get out on foot and approach some dude in a 3,000 pound car who has made it apparent he doesn't want to give up. Stay back until he gets out of the car.
