PA, I was curious about that program itself. The Army pays around $4500 a year for Graduate School. I’m down to two options,
1. Tulane University – School of Continuing Studies
-Master of Professional Studies (MPS) in Computing Technologies
-Master of Professional Studies (MPS) in Homeland Security
2. LSU-S
-MBA
Tulane would be a resident’s course, while LSUS would be online. Was set on Tulane for the fall, but, just found out LSU-S could be an option also. My undergrad is from LSU (ISDS) and I currently work at Ochsner on the EPIC Software team. I am also a Signal Officer in the Army National Guard. What has me thinking the LSU program is that I might have the potential to travel in the next couple years, and this degree would allow that. And, with the number of deployments (2 in last 5 years) and Hurricanes, etc., I can keep the course by going to LSU.
I guess my question to you or anyone, which one would you chose?
Thanks,
Willis

Those MPS degrees are very specific, ie, applied. Great if you are already working in those fields, or seek to gain entry into them.
But the MBA is a broader education, not specialized (though you can focus a small portion of coursework toward one area or another).
So I'd pick a grad program based on what you REALLY want to pursue, career-wise.
