Just got my second refurb Nexus 7 from a different seller on Amazon...both have been shite. One with a flickering screen...the other with a terrible screen replacement job and shitty WiFi connection. Play Store download progress stops halfway through, even after factory reset. These came from 2 different sellers with great reviews.

Luck of the draw. I bought a refurb Nexus 4 awhile back and it has been awesome for me.

Bought an original iPad refurb from Apple several years ago, and that thing is solid as a rock. It's now retired from business use, but it's still serving admirably as my kid's mobile Angry Bird unit. It gets kicked, dropped, and generally whacked around every day, but it just keeps on purring. I even used it to watch the SEC network this past weekend when I realized DirecTV had been added as a participating provider. I was actually just looking at upgrading all the way up to an iPad 2. I'm no Apple fanboy, and I have avoided just about everything but this iPad and an occasional iPhone, but I've got to give props to them on that little refurb gem. Of course, YMMV.

I know. I should've known better. The upper 90s feedback ratings should have been a clear indicator that I would be receiving absolutely nonfunctional, unusable shite.
