There were no Oilers or Texans when I became a serious sports fan, but I was more than willing to become a Texans fan when my hometown finally got a team. It was easy because they represent my hometown.
Damn you just blindly called out like 5 MSB rocket fans

Andre Johnson was always a beast and put up nice numbers in yardage. I thought he was a Top 5 WR in the league for years.
i never viewed him as underrated.
but I know what you mean. If that makes any sense.
Yeah I got you. I'm thinking in the grand scheme of things. I guess underappreciated would have been a better term?

quote:He was pretty good from 2008-2012, but awful in 2007 and 2013. Anyways, my post was pretty straight forward.
First of all, Schaub was at worst a "quality QB" during his time with the Texans
quote:Matt Schaub was there from 2007-2013, and Andre Johnson was drafted in 2003.
It's crazy to try to imagine Andre Johnson's numbers had he played with a quality quarterback his entire career.
quote:Because they all saw time as a Houston Texans quarterback. I listed all Andre Johnson played with throughout his career.
And are you really including Delhomme, Grossman, and Savage?

Yes, in its embellishment. Including three QBs who have like a combined 20 snaps between them.

Dave Ragone says frick You!

Gonna miss him. I'm glad the Texans are giving him the respect he deserves from the franchise and letting him leave on his own terms. I'll still continue to wear my old Reebok battle red AJ80 jersey on gamedays with pride.

Andre Johnson will always be a Texan in my book no matter where he goes. Thanks for the memories!!!

maybe.
but he's a seven time Pro-Bowler and a two time All-Pro selection.
I always thought he got a lot of respect.
slugging Courtland Finnegan was right on. I wish he would have landed a few more punches though.
one of the better moments in the league in recent years in my opinion.

If SportsCenter did a "Top 10 plays of Andre Johnson's career as a Texan", that would be #1.

see, if that had happened in the 70's or 80's not as many people would have cared.
but what if that had happened this past year in the NFL?
the fake outrage would be overflowing thanks to social media.
but since Finnegan has always been a little turd maybe not.
frick it though, they let hockey players do that.
I thought it was totally necessary.

That happened like 3 years ago. The reaction would be the same as it was then which was everyone laughing at it
Eta 5 years ago. Twitter was around already

yeah I guess so.
I meant that since last year was a circus with all the off field stuff going on around the league he might have caught more shite.
I think somebody threw a hay maker in the Eagles-Redskins game when Foles got lit up.
didn't they?

Wonder if he wants money or wants to win.
If he wants money why don't he just stay in Houston?
He's gonna have to take a pay cut to fit on a contender
