Saints cap number right now : $165.16
We need to trim $22 mil
Teams have to be under cap by the 10th

Knowing the Saints they likely already converted the bonuses to get us to the cap and just didn't announce it yet.

Every time I see those experts going apeshit over the Saints salary cap, I just picture Loomis sitting in his office with all of the contracts already signed, and waiting for the start of FA to submit to the league, laughing at everyone.

From the sounds of it Brees isn't getting touched so it looks like some cuts and/or pay cuts are coming.

We only have until 4pm to use franchise tag.

We had the option of having Ingram for about $5m had we picked up the 5th year option and we declined, so yeah no way Ingram gets tagged.
And we have no one else even worth considering so we won't see it used until Jordan gets tagged next year.

We just have to hope Jordan and Hicks don't both have monster years (unless we win the SB) this year otherwise one likely won't be back.
Outside of those two it's a pretty cheap FA class for us like this year.
