It's already been pretty damn good, but it's about to get awesome quick. Can't wait for Mike to get involved in a big way.

They talked about his time as a cop and how it ended bad. Never told how, we may get insight.

Perhaps Saul helps him out to where he can see his granddaughter..thus starting a positive and helpful relationship.

I thought his police career ended with that husband who killed his wife. Remember that whole half measures speech.

Yup.

I've liked this show so far. Mike was a favorite of mine off of Breaking Bad.

No, that was just when his partner was out. That was mike on his own, possibly before he himself "broke bad". Since his followup was "two weeks later he killed her, so much blood you could taste the metal", if he saw the crimescene he was still a cop.

Maybe I just read things wrong and I need to rewatch that scene, but I took it that Mike had some retribution against the murdering husband. He finished the measure that he left undone so to speak. Then there was some fall out from that that ended his career.

I had high hopes for this show and all indications are it's going to deliver. AMC has another hit.

That was an excellent episode!

I don't think it was that. I think that particular story was just an example he used to relay a message to Walter. Mike probably has 200 of those kinds of stories.

I think something happened with his son, God I hope to find out more soon.

Spoilers from Breaking Bad

Wasn't Mike leaving his money to his granddaughter? That could have been her mother that was married to Mike's son (daughter-in-law").

Yeah, that was his granddaughter's mom.

They aren't on speaking terms looks like right now. In BB he's able to visit.

Maybe Saul can help? Thus mike becoming a friend.

She looks like she may have reported him, and boom Philly officers are there. Something is definitely up. Maybe she blames mike for something.

Buut yeah the money was left to her, NOT her mom.

Do you watch the show and do you know it is a prequel to Breaking Bad? He is going to get fed up with "elderly law" and get called to help a drug dealer. He is going to make so much money he is going to forget about everything else. If anything the dealers will steal his brothers money. I swear, pay attention people.
