I should know for sure around 4 pm when I get home. The Nebraska vs A&M game starting at 3:30 is also on the "alternate channel".

There's another thread for this, but I thought I may as well post it here too. For those of us with AT&T Uverse, the Houston game tonight is listed on channel 1697. That looks like the only live broadcast of the weekend, though (Baylor is tape delayed, and I didn't see Nebraska listed).

Where did you look to not see Nebraska listed?

I ask because of all the Root channels on DirecTv's guide, none of them show the LSU game. But it is listed on Root's website.

The website only shows the current day's listings. I don't think we will know for sure what is showing until that day. Though, I think I saw someone in this thread post that the only live game being shown on Root was the Nebraska game on Sunday.

Wish I knew that also. I've seen it posted before but it was for games on ESPN3 and at the time I didn't need the information.

Okay, good news for DirecTv customers who have the sports package. If you don't have the sports pack get it for the weekend.

The game according to the Root website and now DirecTv's guide will be shown on channel 674.

That could be true. I was looking at the guide on the Uverse website, and it could possibly update with the games later. It definitely listed the Baylor game as being shown tomorrow at 11 PM Eastern, though (presumably 10 PM Central).

What if you stream it from Directtv.com and use a proxy server?

On DirecTv's ONLINE guide they show tonight's game against Houston at 7 pm and Sunday's game against Nebraska at 11 am. Saturday's time slot on the same channel shows "programming information not available".

Shhhh !!!!, I have spent almost $100 bucks to see these games - bought an unnecessary Roku because of ESPN and LSUsports.net listing the games on WatchESPN earlier in the week.

I am once again pumped based on what I have learned this morning from DirecTv and Root's websites. I hope the roller coaster ride is over and I can remain happy about watching the games.

The weather. I have never missed a baseball game LSU has played in Houston in the 15 or so years I have lived here. Been to Reckling and Houston's ballpark multiple times.

On this one it was the concern over the cold arse weather and not crazy about driving from where I live to downtown Houston for a 7 pm game.

I prefer watching games on my big screen TV while sitting/reclining on my warm couch with a rum and coke. If these games had not been listed on WatchESPN earlier in the week, myself and a few others would have tickets and have gone.

The other people aren't even baseball fans but love going to the games. Especially the ones at Houston's campus because they serve beer and even put a temporary concession/beer stand on the right field side just for LSU fans. You miss a lot of the game's action but it is a lot of fun.

It looks like the games are also being televised by a station called ROOT Sports Southwest and that may be available on Direct TV, DISH etc depending on what package you have.

This. DirecTV has it listed on Root Sports Southwest-Alternate, channel 674-1.

Gotcha, just curious since I know it would be hard to miss if I lived there. Hopefully the Direct tv channel works out.

Hopefully, because if it wasn't going to be on TV or streamed I would be headed to the game tonight.
