Not really. I'm talking about the person that shows up to family gatherings and brags incessantly about his massive gun collection plus the gun he has concealed in his pocket. 2nd amendment protects the 1st.
Anybody has a right to love guns, veggies, crossfit or no God at all. They can even be vocal about it.
I take it as a compliment that I served my country well when I hear a biased, thoughtless statement about any of the above.

Don't act like this is a common occurrence. Can you honestly say that you've ever seen this? I'm not talking about the same small number of videos that make their way around the Internet. I don't know anyone who would do that, and I've been around plenty of "gun guys." Most of the people I know shake their heads at that kind of behavior.

Oh, I don't know, the government is by the people, for the people, and of the people. If you take that "of the people" portion liberally to mean that the government is literally all of us since we vote for our representatives, then it does explicitly protect Real Pirate's right to tell Superior Pariah to frick right off.
If, however, you interpret "of the people" to mean that the government only includes those people chosen by other people to hold office, then the amendment's applicability to Real Pirate telling Superior Pariah to frick right off is in question.
