Mario Balotelli is being lined up for a shock exit from Liverpool, with MLS outfit Orlando City set to open talks for his services.

Balotelli, who has struggled to shine in his debut season at Anfield, has been strongly linked with a move at the end of the campaign.

And reports say he is being lined up for a switch to the MLS, with Orlando ready to start talks with his agent to bring him to America.

Balotelli is believed to be keen on the American lifestyle and would listen to any proposal made.

I'll open up the discussions by saying he should stick it out with Liverpool for another season and then come to Atlanta, which is more suited to his lifestyle than Orlando.

I could see this going a couple of different ways. He either destroys the league by scoring about 200 goals in a season or he becomes bored, acts like a jack arse and destroys what's left of his career.

With three additional votes, the motion for Balo to Atlanta carries.

Time to draw up the contract, MLS.

His type of personality would certainly be entertaining. I'd love to see him in on a MLS roster.

The MLS marketing team must be licking their chops if true. This is a dream come true

Jesus Christ. I think this is probably bullshite, but also think that he's the type that would do it. He would average like 1.5 goals per game.

Does this mean he'll be eating McDonalds, shopping at Wal-mart and watching reality tv? If so, I can see where that might be appealing to him.
