Looking for places that are more fun and casual. Tried NOLA brewery but 3 essential guests are under 21. Thinking Bayou Beer Garden (for the bomb patio) but haven't called yet. Contacted Barcadia a few times but the bums still haven't gotten back to me. If it's gonna be traditional, we're gonna do Ralph's but we are hoping for a more casual and fun rehearsal dinner.

Any ideas?

I went to one at Parkway. Food was served on the patio and you went to the bar for beer/cocktails. It was fun. The only real drawback was that it was hot outside and with the fans running it was hard to hear the toasts. Overall, it was a good time and very relaxed.

My friends did Rock n Bowl. They didn't want the usual stand around the yacht club and give speeches thing. It was a good time.

We don't really care for the food there. I don't get how it's so popular.

And so does every other poboy place in Nola, for almost half the price.

Oh. You weren't actually participating in the thread, you were looking for an opportunity to try to make me feel uncomfortable or embarrassed about Internet rumors.
