Steve Smith is one of the better national announcers out there. That was a great call on the GW 3.

Reggie miller is, as always, not as good as his sister. And he's also just awful at announcing.

I turned in late after scoreboard watching on my phone. It sounded a hell of a lot like Reggie with the oooooooOOO and actually dissecting the play. Just thought it was a great call. I prefer almost every TNT crew to anything ABC/ESPN has to offer except Barkley.

There's a post practice interview video of Anjinca on the Pels site from yesterday and they were asking him about how he fit with AD on the court and Ajinca was talking about how he thought being an offensive threat would help get AD open which is useful. Jimmy Smith turned it into something along the lines of "So you're saying you're the reason AD scored 39 points?" Ajinca handled it well and gave him a "WTF are you talking about jackass?" face. I think he was kind of joking, but you could tell he was also going for a gotcha. You maybe do that to visiting players, definitely not your own

how that dude has that job i have no clue.
this past weekend i grabbed a sunday paper for the first time in ages, all they had left in hammond was a BR edition of the advocate. i open up the sports section and on page 2 is a full page on the pels...game notes, interviews, 2 articles, a short column, standings, etc. really nice
i went and found a TP just to see, they had a 1/4 page buried in the section, with no local input, just a wire story. no column, no reporting, no nothing. TP coverage of this team, a professional basketball franchise, in the city, is a joke
