I don't think there is any question you go for the Nissan.

Am I the only one that finds Corvettes cheesy and trashy?

Nissan for sure. Vettes aren't trashy though. Cheesy maybe.

kind of whatever floats your boat I'd say
I've had several Zs and for whatever reason I haven't liked the body style since the 350s came out, I'm sure it's a fine whip

Yeah maybe trashy is the wrong word, but no doubt cheesy

I could see some cheese dick sporting an affliction get up driving a 370z as well.... just not near as cringe worthy as some of the old guys driving vettes.

I like vettes but every time I see one now I look to see if it's an old fart(usually is,) and think about about this madhouse

Z06 is way too much car for you. The Nissan is too.

Stay with your truck.
And just to be on the safe side, pull a few plug wires.

9 yr old a C5 or C6?

I'd take a C6 over the Z. But the Z over the C5.

Went by the Vette exhibit today at WOW.

Yep, all the owners were old.

Some younger guys with modded Z06's though.

Even your screen name is cringe worthy.... I don't know why Vettes do that but it makes me embarrassed for the 60 year olds that drive them. It's like the same types that eat at Twin Peaks and Hooters several times a week and takes pictures with their waitress Bless their little hearts

If they are both low mileage(under 40-50k) I would go with the vette all day, higher mileage(over 40-50k) the Z all day.

I picked it for the irony, TBH.

I left all the Vette boards b/c a lot of the guys were old farts that generally sat and around and bitched about everything.

So there is a certain amt. of truth to the stereotype.

That said a Z06 will eat a 370Z and it's not close.
That's what car guys care about.

That may be true but in his defense after knowing about your driving skills he may be right and those cars might be too much for you. Hopefully you are recovering well. I am just now starting to feel ok and be able to walk normally after breaking my foot, tearing my achilles and a few other ligaments right before Christmas and I know your injuries were much worse.

This is so accurate but it won't go over well here because there's a strong contingent of posters here who fit into that demographic. Those guys also ruin Twin Peaks, Brick House, etc., for me, which is a shame.

I just based it on his posts.

He's not really into cars/speed/handling etc.
Those cars really aren't for everybody as they do require more attention.

I drive my Jag way different than my f250. I pay way more attention, probably b/c Im going a little quicker.

Z06. I don't see how one distinguishes the cheesiness of a Vette from a Nissan Z.

I had a 1996 Grand Sport when I was 25. I wasn't cheesy, just wanted a sports car that wasn't a Mustang, Camaro, etc. What else would I have gotten?

Instant torque, but can't really double as a sole DD yet.

I like them, but they have limitations.
