Any Idea why LSU didn't offer Michael Qualls?

Dude was at powerhouse Huntington and had offers from Arky, Ole Miss, LA Tech and Tennessee.
Averaging 15 point and 5 rebounds at Arkansas . Would be a great addition to the current team. Need to get more players from that area. The Shreveport Bossier area is a hotbed for basketball talent. Check out Jalen West for Northwestern St. Good chance the kid gets drafted next year . Only problem is he's 5'10 played at Bossier.

I know . I said Jalen West is only 5'10. He's a pg at. Northwestern St. And is top 20 in the country In steals and assists. Also averages about 16 points a game

Trent Johnson was a lazy frick, that's why. Let's just take a look at the guys Trent didn't offer. LaceDerrius Dunn, Langston Galloway, Kortney Roberson, Qualls, and Markel Brown. God he sucked.

LaceDarius Dunn was part of the 2007 class.
Kourtney Roberson struggled to qualify until he got to that prep school in TX. He was not going to LSU at that point.
You may have an argument with the rest though.

he's very athletic i.e. not trent johnson's type
bubba hotep and i were screaming for trent to offer back when it was damn near impossible to figure out lsu hoops recruiting
eta- i dont hold galloway against trent because he was never coming to LSU. in hindsight derenbecker/turner over markel brown was pretty bad. i was glad we took turner but he was only good when he gave a frick which was rarely and derenbecker (RIP) just wasn't good enough

Not too late for West. He is on pace to graduate this year and would have 1 year left to play if he doesn't enter the draft after this year.

Jalan is good but the teams NSU play usually run 4 guards so idk how he would do playing against bigger competition

You can ask Arkansas this year or auburn, Baylor last year. sfa may could help you out as well. Ask Coach Jones how he did against us in the scrimmage this year. Just image if he was playing with elite talent around him and he didn't have constant doubles running at him to try and get the ball out of his hands.

Trent really left JJ not much at all. A big reason we have no depth is because look at our junior and senior class (what Trent left us).
Odo JJ snapped as a juco. Hornsby was a JJ transfer. Gray was a juco.
Not a single Trent Johnson player left on our roster and this is only year 3 for JJ. Trent Johnson didnt even bother to recruit for the 2012 class when he left.
JJ comes in and has to quickly nab folks like Shavon Coleman, Corban Collins, Malik Morgan and Shane Hammink. Only Coleman ended up being any good too out of that bunch and he was a 2 year player.
For the 2011 class Trent got JOB III (big hit, but didnt last to this year), Anthony Hickey who had so many problems JJ had to kick him off and John Isaac who was awful.
