I "sold" it last November. if you can call it that. i did not make any money on initial deal but the distributing company has it for 7 years. they are out of N.Y. they have not released it yet. it will be streaming sites and straight to dvd sales like Amazon, etc. so, basically i just sit and wait.

Good question. i don't want to go back into the 'audition' world. that's fun and all but i want to take it to the next level. hopefully, they will release it soon and maybe i can get some financial backing for future films based on the one i shot on a self-financed. i have a few good ones ready to go. if i can't financial backing, i'm going to shoot another one and finance it myself. i learned a hell of a lot from the 1st one. I was extremely pleased to acquire a distributor is such a short period (1 month). I was thinking I would have had to self distribute it.

The chances of making real $$ money on your self-financed or micro budget films are very slim. But the payoff is getting recognized for your work and that next film you should be able to hustle up some financing.

I don't truly know cause majority of the people are so full of crap. I do know a hand full of companies that roll in about $100-200 a film and then they put it right back into financing another one.
