St. Thomas, USVI: you get off the plane and walk down next to all the other planes until you get to the end of the terminal, then they let you inside. The baggage claim is like an outdoor barn.

I bet BRAC paid for the upgrades.

Really nice folks at the U.S. Airways counter there, seriously. Flight out was delayed, they fed us in the terminal.

Shreveport's makes you feel like it's 1983.

Union Island In the Grenadines. There was 1 employee that acted as the baggage handler, gate attendant, and air traffic controller.

St. Thomas, USVI -- frick the outdoor baggage claim. It was 20 degrees in Atl and 85 degrees in St. Thomas. I was sweating my arse off in a sweater while trying to get my rental.

Without a doubt, Key West. The employees were barefoot. And it's probably the size of my house

We were on a prop plane flying out of there one time. The stewardess came on and said we were over weight and needed two people to get off, they offered vouchers and a couple of people finally took the offer. Two people got off and one person got on. The pilot backed up on the runway to get ever bit of usable runway. He locked the breaks and pushed the engines to full power before releasing the breaks and us taking off. We used the entire runway to get off the ground.

Nah, IAH has all the most desired airports amenities. It's just that there spread out over 60 acres.
