Same. Must just be the nostalgia/overall importance of the movie to Disney's history. AiW is a better movie (imho), but I guess it makes sense that some people are voting Cinderella over it. For posterity's sake if for nothing else, I guess.

While I do love the robin hood theme song, Pinocchio is a technical marvel. It is perhaps Disney's best film from a pure animation standpoint. Truly, truly brilliant.

5 Dumbo
12 Bambi

If you haven't recently, re-watch Dumbo. Holy God, is it a weird, depressing film. Really a go for broke movie with one of the best sequences ever.

4 Song of the South
13 Fox and the Hound

Yeah, yeah, yeah. Anti-PC and all that. Here's the thing, outside of a great song, it's a pretty crappy film. Horribly overseeded, and the Disney blackout ironically makes it grossly overrated.

6 Cinderella
11 Alice in Wonderland

Song of the South has Alice's seed. Now she's stuck in a battle of juggernauts. Cinderella is a near perfect movie, so tough luck for Alice, which I do love.

3 Mary Poppins
14 Fantasia

Speaking of horseshite seeding. Are you fricking kidding me? That piece of shite Song of the South (yes, I am hung up on it, it's not terribly good) gets a 4-seed and FANTASIA gets a 14?! WTF is wrong with you? You should be ashamed of yourself.

I love Lady and the Tramp, but when little Mowgli asks for "Princess movie", she's not talking about the genre, she's talking about this. This is THE Princess movie, and lushly animated. Not to mention, the best Disney villain ever.

NOMINATION: Since Freaux nominated Black Cauldron (wooo!!!), I'll nominate The Muppets (the Segel one, as the Muppet Movie is not Disney).

The 1st generation Disney movies should all be top seeds.. Snow White, Pinocchio, dumbo, fantasia, Bambi. Quality dropped off big time after and didn't recover fully until the 90s. They got really lazy with the animations.
