Sidewalk narcissism.

Not because you didn't go to LSU—I don't know your life—but usually when people talk like this, it's people who have no affiliation with LSU and decided at some point in their decades-long youth that they would base their quality of life not on the success of LSU football, but on the success of LSU football as compared to that of another football team two states over.

I don't think we did all we could to fight for Valentine's eligibility last season
you don't think? Do you know what the issue was with Valentine? No. You don't, but you have a remarkably strong opinion on the subject.

They're other schools in this conference that also want the SEC championship game moved occasionally
they only occasionally want it moved? Atlanta is not home to any SEC team, weather isn't a factor, it is where it should be, crowds are equal. We play well in Atlanta, I love it there.

quote:

Why aren't we voicing our opinion on that?
Once again, lets suppose that our admin does want it moved, where do you think would be appropriate? Orlando, Atlanta, Houston, New Orleans? All would be decent choices, but Atlanta makes the most sense in every decision...especially central location and travel ease. Seems to me we are voicing our opinion and it is fine for the vast majority of folks.

Maybe we can get Mizzou to go with us, who wants to play Bama, AU, FL, every year anyway..that shite is too hard

Atlanta is nowhere near a central location in the SEC. Look at a map of the SEC states, from El Paso to Kansas City to Florence, KY to Key West. The central location might be Memphis or even Jackson, MS.

Ok, lets play it in Jackson. I really don't see an issue with it, aside from fricking every possible thing needed to hold the event there.

Did you not think Vicksburg was more reasonable.

And WTF are you talking about with El Paso and Key West.

It has gotten to the point where I wonder how much longer the fix can continue. The SEC is the new WWF. It is rigged by Bammers for Bama. Pretty easy to see. The Machine runs the SEC and the State of AL.

Your bashing the guy, but he has a valid argument here. Valentine was cleared by the NCAA, but wasn't cleared by the conference? This doesn't raise a huge red flag for you? With all of the issues and hundreds of schools the NCAA has to deal with they were able to clear Valentine by fall camp. The SEC with only dealing with 14 schools couldn't do it all season? I am not a conspiracy guy, but this doesn't pass the smell test.

Ok, so what was the issue? Do you really think that the LSU admin put out all the effort to recruit this guy and just said, awww shucks.

Are all NCAA requirements and SEC requirements the same? I don't know that answer, I assume everyone else does know it.

Does anyone really think that with the SEC office is above being sanctioned just because it is in Birmingham. What would the damage award be to a member school if the SEC office was found guilty of the stupid shite posters on here routinely accuse?

A whole god damn bunch.

Yeah, that is the reason we couldn't get a first down, or we didn't tackle a screen pass. That god damn office.

I swear, the LSU fanbase is beginning to earn their whiney arse reputation.

We have the worst refs and the most idiotc schedule rotation. This conference makes money because we have collectively the biggest group of die hards that live and breath football.

Yes, I do know what happened with Valentine's eligibility and we didn't want to fight the conference any longer after several weeks had passed even though the NCAA had cleared him. And occasionally wanting it moved is total BS. I know for a fact that Mizzou, Arkansas, A&M, and Florida do not favor the title game in Atlanta on an annual basis. If you think Atlanta is a central location for people from texas, Arkansas, or Missouri you are a bigger idiot than I thought. Last I heard Houston, Dallas, New Orleans, and St. Louis all have a stadium with a roof over them. Uh losing to a mediocre Clemson team in 2012 and getting the sh** beat out of us in 2005 by UGA is not playing well in Atlanta. Podnuh
